Kuper is a Dandy

06/08/2018, 3:45pm CDT

Each year, recognizes the top defensive players in the country better known as "Defensive Dandies".  KC Power would like to congratulate P18 Taylor Kuper on being recognized as one of the Dandies.

Taylor Kuper, Sr., Olathe Northwest (Olathe, Kansas) – Kuper isn’t tall, which is why she’ll be playing back row in college for Illinois, but her impact on a high school volleyball court is undeniable. Up front, she can score with power or precision and always plays with tenacity. That tenacity translates to the back row, where Kuper is everywhere defensively and steady in serve-receive. She also has a jump serve that eats up opponents. Kuper finished the year with 472 kills, 106 aces and 270 digs for a 40-4 Raven squad that repeated as 6A state champs. Kuper was named Class 6A Player of the Year and to the all-State Tournament Team. Kuper has a wicker jump serve, great touch as a passer and unlimited defensive range.
