Marissa Hines Nominated for Prestigious award

Andi Collins wanted to be the best setter in the nation. Cancer ended that dream Sept. 4, 2003, a month shy of her 17th birthday. The Andi Collins Award, presented in her honor and memory, recognizes the best senior setter in the nation. Please congratulate KC Power 18-1 setter - Marissa Hines for being nominated for this prestigious Prep volleyball award.

Marissa Hines, 6-1 S, Olathe North (Olathe, Kansas) – Hines led the Eagles to a 29-8 record in 2017 and broke school single-season and career assists marks in the process. The Wyoming signee finished the fall campaign with 1,141 assists, adding to her total of 3,721 for her career. The First Team All-League and Second Team All-State performer added 323 digs, 118 kills, 58 aces and 61 blocks. A four-year starter, Hines has been co-captain and team MVP in each of those years.
